ERNESTO GENTILI REVIEW
Journalist Ernesto Gentili reports reviews of the most representative wines in terms of type and vintage in the Montepulciano area
I selected the most significant wines from each winery reviewed and collected them in this group made up of 15 reds from the Montepulciano area, with a prevalence of Vino Nobile. In a quick and concise sequence I appreciated in the wines of Cantina Chiacchiera the desired simplicity at the service of pleasant drinking, of the Cantina Del Giusto the dignity and traditional stylistic rigor, of Gracciano Della Seta the measured and elegant tones, continuing with the flavor and reactive, tonic and youthful character of the Nobile de Il Conventino, probably destined to grow over time, the soft and enveloping structure of the Nobile de Le Berne, the aromas and momentum of those produced by Villa S. Anna.
GRACCIANO DELLA SETA
Vino Nobile di Montepulciano Docg Riserva 2016: natural color, free from excesses, spicy aromas, balanced, juicy, enveloping and compelling flavor, only slightly warmer and woody in the finish but always well measured and stylistically recognizable. 90/100 E.G.
